Roofing in Longtown
Longtown sits on the Esk just south of the border, a small market town surrounded by farmland. The work here splits fairly evenly between housing in the town, much of it older stone and brick under slate or tile, and agricultural roofing on the farms and the auction ground around it, where profiled sheeting, roof lights and box gutters are the usual concerns.
It's flat, open country either side of the river, so wind exposure is a real factor, and the low ground near the Esk means drainage off the roof needs to work properly rather than adequately. We cover Longtown and out through Rockcliffe, Westlinton and the border villages for repairs, re-roofing, guttering, chimney work and agricultural roofing.

Why choose RML Roofing in Longtown
A roof only gets looked at properly when something has already gone wrong, and most of what separates a repair that lasts twenty years from one that fails next winter is invisible from the ground. That is why choosing the right roofer matters more than the quote. Here is what you get from us on every job we take on in Longtown.
Public liability insured
We hold public liability insurance for the work we carry out, and we're happy to show you a copy of our certificate before any work begins.
Honest advice, with photos
We get up on the roof, find the actual cause and show you photos of what we've found. If a repair will do the job, we won't sell you a new roof.
Fixed price, agreed upfront
A clear written quote before any work starts. The price we agree is the price you pay, and if anything unexpected comes up, we’ll talk to you before any extra work is done.
10-year guarantee
From a single slipped slate to a full re-roof, all our roofing work comes with a 10-year workmanship guarantee, explained before we start.
