Fascia repairs and replacement
Fascias run along the lower edge of the roof and support the guttering. We repair or replace damaged, deteriorating or loose fascia boards, addressing problems with the supporting fixings before fitting replacement materials.
Soffit repairs and replacement
Soffits cover the underside of the roof overhang, helping protect the roof space from the weather and preventing unwanted access. We repair or replace damaged, loose or deteriorating soffits, taking account of the ventilation requirements of the roof.
Bargeboard repairs and replacement
Bargeboards protect the sloping edges of the roof at the gable ends. We repair or replace damaged and deteriorating bargeboards to maintain the condition and appearance of the roofline.
Timber and uPVC rooflines
Timber rooflines require regular maintenance to protect against moisture and decay, while uPVC components can become damaged, loose or discoloured over time. Where timber has deteriorated, we assess the extent of the damage before recommending repairs or replacement, and on existing uPVC we can address damaged boards, loose fittings and other defects.
Guttering and roofline repairs
Damaged fascias and loose fixings can affect the security of your guttering. Where both need attention, we can coordinate guttering work with fascia repairs or replacement to avoid unnecessary repeat work.

Roofline FAQs
If the damage is localised and the rest of the roofline is sound, repairing or replacing individual sections may be enough. Where timber is widely rotten or boards are failing along the run, full replacement is usually more practical. We’ll explain the options once we’ve assessed the roofline.
In many cases, yes. uPVC needs less ongoing maintenance than painted timber, although the right choice depends on the property, and timber may be more appropriate on traditional or listed buildings. We’ll discuss the options with you.
Yes. Damaged or missing soffits and gaps at the roof edge can let birds and pests into the roof space. Repairing or replacing them closes these gaps, while keeping any ventilation the roof needs.
Yes. Where both need attention, doing the guttering alongside the fascia work avoids repeat visits and can be included in the same quotation.
